Cooling off period here.

Lakers lost their last two games.
End of this year 2010 and winding
down from Holiday frenzy.
Ailing hubby and tinsel with tree boughs
to put someplace. It is another set of thoughts
that seem to be taking precedence right now
so believe it is time to sit back and contemplate
some other facets for these days looming ahead.
The 70 yr. old Larry Brown was let go from coaching
with the Charlotte Bobcats. He leaves with an 88-108
mark with the Bobcats. His 1,327 victories in the ABA
and NBA are but 9 shy of supplanting Don Nelson for
the most all- time.
The Lakers and the Boston Celtics are rivals. So are
the San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns but
rivals with Miami Heat? Not hardly. Yet, Miami took
the prize away from us right on Christmas Day.
They have done this before too..back in 2004-2006.
Losing to Milwaukee on Tuesday was painful to watch
but seeing our Lakers taking such a dive on Christmas
Day
to Miami caused hearts to flutter & tummies to roll.
Miami 96 and our Lakers 80.
Well, perhaps this might have been a wake up call.
We can only hope so. This coming Tuesday Lakers will
be out of town playing San Antonio. Perhaps a river walk
will ease their bods. and trigger their motions to win one.
Let's hope so and keep the remote control close by!
So farewell again John Wooden and goodbye for now
again Pete Carroll with a silent prayer for a threepeat
as our brand new year comes around for each of us.
