SHOW NO MERCY

Charlotte Bobcats had quite a hard
time on Tuesday night at Staples Center.
Our Lakers were in good form.
The Lakers played with ruthless
efficiency and looked like the
team we had known of before, and
loved! Led by Kobe Bryant, the
Lakers charged in front of the lowly
Charlotte Bobcats in the opening
seconds of the game. They built
a 24 point lead by halftime and
completed by winning big.
Their ending score was 106-73.
The starters were even able to
go and sit down to take a rest
while the bench played instead.
It is going to get a bit tougher.
Their road plays include the
Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Phila-
delphia 76ers.,Boston Celtics,
N.Y.Knicks and the Toronto Raptors.
Oh boy...this is one tough trip.
Winning over the Bobcats was only
their 13th. win in 22 games.
At home, their games have been
11-2 but on the road, 2-7.
Bryant scored 24 points playing
Charlotte, but were all made in
the very first half of game played.
All in all, Kobe played only 28
minutes on Tuesday night.
Gilbert Arenas has been contacted
for playing with us in order to
not strain Derek Fisher (37) in
role of point guard as Steve Blake
is still out of circulation with
an injured rib/sternum problem.
We ought to mention here, one new
player on our team...Andrew Goudelock.
He has been doing an outstanding job.
He averaged 11.3 points in his
past three contests as Fisher's backup.
And so we pack it up and head out
on the road. Need to focus now & play.
