SO PROUD OF YOU

Purple and gold and Celtic greens.
Yesterday's game is what this is
really all about. Playing fair,
being competitive, acting as a
solid unit. All of this came in
to the game and then some..even
coach Mike Brown felt inclined
to give our Andrew Bynum a kiss
on his forehead! Game went in
to overtime with scores being tied
all through-out the entire game.
Pau Gasol, at age 31, did his
level best to show us his long
legs and long arms. He scored 25
points and had 14 rebounds, plus
3 assists, shooting 12 for 20.
Kobe Bryant shot 27 points and
stated that "each player really
knows each other so well that
we almost know what is coming
before it takes place."
The Lakers ended a two game
losing streak, won for only
the fourth time in 13 road
games so in doing so, gave
themselves a chance at a
winning record on their 6
game trip. They are at 2-2
with games tonight against
New York and Sunday against
Toronto. Kobe said "any game
we win now is our best win
of the year". Our Lakers
defense was certainly far
better and even our offensive
plays were pretty good too.
This then, was the fourth
consecutive regular season
victory over the Celtics in
Boston. Ending score was 88-87.
Will be fun to see just what
all of this might bring to
the table for the next two
road games. We'll be watching!
